With Fireworks, designing interfaces for your application does not require programming knowledge and everything can be optimized through a streamlined user interface.
Some of the most important features of Adobe Fireworks are the varied prototyping tools for tablets and phones, translating designs to CSS3, and quick and optimized design processing.
Although you can use Adobe Photoshop to do similar things, Fireworks comes with a bitmap and vector toolset specifically created for developers and designers who plan on building web, mobile and application GUIs.
Another important difference between Fireworks and Photoshop is that you can easily switch between pages, and to make changes to multiple pages at once. Adobe Fireworks provides thus industry-leading tools for creating mock-ups, 3D graphics, vector graphics as well as bitmap images.
Furthermore, the application is closely related to Adobe Dreamweaver, as you can reassemble the designs from Fireworks in Dreamweaver.
